Energypedia is a wiki platform where you can write, create, revise and disseminate articles on technologies and approaches related to renewable energy and energy efficiency with regard to development aid. It helps to optimize knowledge exchange and joint work on renewable energies in developing countries among its users around the world. By working together the users make sure that the relevant contents concerning renewable energies in development aid are represented in the wiki and are revised regularly. Consequently, by using energypedia you are quickly updated by reading the relevant "wiki articles".
Energypedia aims at a better integration of expert knowledge in order to support a knowledge transfer: functioning approaches to rural electrification are documented and can be discussed and further developed with relevant actors coming from the partner governments, the civil society, the private industry and energy experts. Furthermore, separate areas in the wiki can be used as trans-regional working platform for knowledge and project management.
